Best Way to Stabilize 2019 Winnebago on Ford E-450 Chassis

Question:

I have a 2019 Winnebago Outlook 27D. It is on a E-450 Ford chassis. I experienced a wind gust, probably of no more than 20 MPH, which made it difficult to maintain my lane at 65 MPH. Will the Sumo springs help with this problem, and, if so, what number Sumo springs do you recommend for front and rear. Thanks

Wind gusts are definitely something that can be difficult to deal with when driving a rig like yours and we do have solutions that will help ease your drive. The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-130-54 can be helpful in this regard, but are not the best option when it comes to controlling your 2019 Winnebago Outlook 27D.

The best way to enhance the ride and reduce the affect of heavy wind gusts of your Winnebago on a Ford E-450 chassis is to begin by adding an aftermarket rear anti-sway bar because they are a vast improvement over the OEM sway bars and their placement at the rear of the vehicle allows for maximum efficiency in terms of better overall handling.

After that you can further improve stability by adding a front anti-sway bar; the combination of these two parts will dramatically increase the handling and comfort of your Winnebago, allowing you to enjoy your time on the road instead of exhaustively attempting to keep your rig centered at all times.

The correct fit for your 2019 Winnebago Outlook 27D on a E-450 Ford chassis are:

- Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Motor Homes # RM-1139-147
- Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar for Motor Homes # RM-1139-176

I have added links to video reviews of these parts, including road tests, for you to take a look at.
