Recommended Trailer Tire Covers for Shielding ST205/75R15 Tires From Sun

Question:

I have a dual axle utility trailer tires ST205/75R15 and am looking for either dual or independent tire covers that block UV rays and minimize the tire temperature I live in AZ and the trailer is outside in direct sun. How do I measure to get the proper size cover? What product do you suggest? Do white covers keep the tire temperature lower than black covers? Thank you!

Thanks for that information and I can tell you the exact size of tire cover you need based on the diameter of your ST205/75R15 tires. These tires measure 27.1" in diameter so you will need a tire cover designed to exceeds that and for the hot Arizona sun I strongly recommend the SnapRing TireSavers Tire Covers # ST7001WH.

These covers are white in color, which is a good idea in the sun, and will effectively repel UV rays with their vinyl construction. The best part about these is that they are so easy to use, meaning you don't have to stand outside getting cooked while fiddling with tire covers.

They just slide over your tires and snap into place so you can take them off and remove them in seconds. This snap ring is going to give you a better fit and keep the covers in place more securely than something like the Adco Tyre Gard RV Wheel Cover # 290-3723, which will also be effective but just uses elastic to remain on your wheel.

The SnapRing TireSavers Tire Covers # ST7001WH are American-made and come with a 1-year warranty. They covers come as a pair so you would need to order a quantity of two for the four wheels on your tandem-axle trailer. I have added links to a couple video reviews of these covers for you to take a look at.
