How To Improve the Ride on a 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Chassis

Question:

Have sumo spacers on the rv now with no improvement in the ride will the ssr 336 47 1 be better? Have Fox shocks on rear.

The SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs like part # SSR-336-47-1 do indeed offer a better ride quality when compared to the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs like part # SSR-338-47 which is what I assume you are referring to. However, the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs will only work for you if you have the standard axle configuration and not the 2" spacer (see photo).

If you do have this spacer which most Sprinters do then you will want to consider the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1209-131 for Class C applications or part # RM-1209-120 for Cutaway application. The upgraded rear sway bar is actually one of the most beneficial upgrades you can make to a motorhome because this is typically the area we see them the weakest from the factory. Please note the SumoSprings option are more for up and down movement whereas the Roadmaster option is more for side to side movement. They can also be used together without issue.

I have attached an install video on the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for you as well.
