Can the 6 Rise/Drop Roadmaster High-Low Adapter be Used with the Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack
Question:
It seems this product is mostly for towing but I would be using it to hold a swagman bike rack for 4 bikes on a class three hitch. Both ends of this adapter would have to be 2”. Will the 200lb tongue weight support this sort of bike rack considering each bike would weigh less than 30lbs?

If you were to fully load the Swagman XTC4 # S64665 with the max bike weight capacity of 35 lbs each then the weight of the bikes and the rack itself would be 199 lbs so technically this will work.
With that being said, the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-076 will reduce the tongue weight rating of your trailer hitch so unless your trailer hitch is rated for at least 400 lbs tongue weight you will be overloading your trailer hitch. Also, placing your fully loaded bike rack further out from your trailer hitch could cause exaggerated movement of the rack while driving. I recommend using a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 to help keep the bike rack from moving around as much.
