Troubleshooting Check Trailer Brake Wiring On Truck Dash

Where is the trailer break wiring located at . I get a message on my dad saying check trailer brake wiring where is that located that if you could help me please Thank you

It's going to be the brake output circuit of the 7-way you have on your truck. This is the pin in the 5:00 position. Most of the time when there's an issue on this circuit it's due to corrosion on the pins so you might try cleaning this first. If that does not fix it look further on the trailer's wiring of this circuit to see if you can find any obvious signs of shorts and fix as needed.
