Front SumoSprings Recommendation for 2018 PleasureWay Ascent Built On Mercedes Sprinter 2500
Question:
I recently purchased Sumo Springs from etrailer for the rear of my 2018 PleasureWay Ascent on a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 chassis. Im very happy with them although theyre a bit of chore to install. After driving with them for about 1000 miles, Ive decided to install front Sumos also. I contacted Sumo for their advice on which size to use, the 500 lb version or the 1000 lb version. They recommend the 500 lb version. Do you concur? If you do not, would you explain why. Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
I would recommend the same as SumoSprings. The temptation is to go with the highest rating as it seems like that would be the most supportive, but in reality you want to go with the best matched capacity which balances ride quality and support. Going with too high of a capacity will give you a harsh ride quality that you wouldn't like. So the kit you'd want then is the part # SSF-106-40 which is the correct fit and capacity.
