Weight of Curt Trailer Hitch for 2018 Volvo V60
Question:
What is the shipping weight?
asked by: Giman
Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13266 that fits your 2018 Volvo V60 has a 34 lb shipping weight. This is a Class III, 2 inch hitch with a 3,500 lb towing capacity and 350 lb tongue weight capacity. It has a black powder coat for rust resistance, is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty.
To add wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # C56287. It is also recommended you use Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector, which will increase its durability and extend its lifespan.
I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop – along with a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
