Will the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rail Kit C16200 Fit a 2014 Ford F-150

Question:

The specific brackets that bolt underneath for the 2014 ford f150 in the pic looks like a bigger l bracket which does not look like it is included in the parts list or diagram ?will the universal kit work?

The Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit part # C16200 is only a fit for your 2014 Ford F-150 if you also use the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit part # C16300 which replace the frame brackets that are included in the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit.

By the time you add these above two pieces together you are close to the price of a custom install kit, the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails part # RP50081-58 which unlike the above combo will not require any drilling into the frame rails on your F-150. This kit will work with the 5-1/2' bed, 6-1/2' bed, and 8' bed models. It will also work even if you have a Curt 5th wheel hitch so this is what I recommend for you.
