Troubleshooting Powered Lippert Steps on RV That Motor Works But Door Switch Does Not Work Bypassed
Question:
having problem with steps tried to test by tying door switch wire together no work hot wire to motor , motor works both direction how can I test the controller?

Basically you've already troubleshooted your problem to be the controller/module since the motor you know works and the door switch isn't the problem either. If you have a single, double, or triple electric Lippert Coach Step or Stromberg Carlson sliding step the module part # LC301702 that you referenced is the correct part you'd need.
