Do Vision S Side Cameras with Marker Lights Replace Marker Lights on Trailer

Question:

I have a 2018 Heartland Gateway and had a Furrion Vision S installed when I bought it, I would like to install the Side Marker Cameras part # FCE48TASL also now, do I replace the orange side marker with these, and will I be able to see the back corner of my RV from these cameras? I think I was told my RV was prewired for these, do you know if that is correct?

I reached out to a representative of Furrion who told me the Furrion Vision S Side Camera with Marker Lights # FCE48TASL will replace the side marker lights on your 2018 Heartland Gateway and work with Furrion Vision S observation system # FOS05TASF.

Though it is possible your '18 Gateway was pre-wired that is something you would have to confirm with Heartland as I was unable to find any definitive information saying it was.

In regard to seeing the back corner of your RV, this camera has a 65 degree viewing angle for the blind spots and working together with the Furrion RV Observation Camera System such as # FOS05TASF you will have as complete a view behind you as possible.
