As long as the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty has 4wd, you can use the Airlift air springs part # AL57596 with a 4 inch lift and a 5th wheel hitch in the bed. You need spacers to make up the room from the 4 inch lift in your suspension. Just because you have a 4 inch lift does not always mean you need a 4 inch spacer. You have to do a couple measurements to figure out which size spacer you need. You need to measure from the frame to the top of the axle on the Ford. Then subtract the operating height of the airbags from that measurement. I contacted Airlift and the the height of the bags while in operation are 8 inches.
The difference between those two measurements is the amount of inches you need in a spacer to install the air lift springs with the suspension lift on the truck. AirLift offers 4 inch spacers part # AL52440 and 2 inch spacers part # AL52420. I have attached a diagram from Airlift for your reference.
The AirLift springs install with a factory fifth wheel hitch or aftermarket fifth wheel hitch. The only difference is the hardware. If you have a factory fifth wheel hitch you use the hardware that came in the kit to install the braces of the air springs. If you have an aftermarket fifth wheel hitch, you use the existing hardware from the side plate of the fifth wheel to attach the brace to the side plate.
For an air compressor system, I recommend Airlift dual path part # AL74000 with wireless remote control because it allows you to adjust the air springs independently of one another with a wireless remote. Single path compressors only allow you to adjust both air bags evenly. With the dual path, you can adjust each bag to different PSI if you have an uneven load in the bed of the truck. The wireless controller allows you to adjust the PSI outside of the cab so you can see when you are level. You can also preset the system to default to whatever PSI you like and the system maintains these levels for you.
If you decide you do not need the dual path compressor system, the single path compressor part # AL25980 works just as well but does not allow you to inflate the bags independently. If you do not put carry a lot of heavy loads in the bed of the truck, the dual path system is not needed. It still has all of the wireless capabilities of the dual path system.
