Recommended Locking Hitch Pin and Adjustment Pin for Anderson Aluminum Rapid Hitch
Question:
I have the Anderson aluminum rapid hitch with the locking pins which utilize those small grey keys. Ive noticed even when new having to wiggle the lock a bit to get it to turn to lock and unlock. As of now when I went to adjust it, the locking pin is stuck and wont budgethe key will not turn at all in either. Same goes for the other pin. Ive tried a little heat and penetrating oils but no help in freeing it. Its just under 2 years old. I want to buy the replacement pin set, but fear theyll stick like these did. I realize Ill have to cut off the old ones, which is a bummer. Is there any other option thatll work on the Anderson Rapid Hitch that may be of better quality or am I going to have to use the Anderson brand ones?

The Rapid Hitch Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches # AM3492 is what you were describing. The locking pins are 5/8 inches and have an inside width of 4-1/4 inches.
If you want a different brand I recommend the Curt Lock Set for Adjustable Channel-Style Mounts # C23556 which will have that same 4-1/4 inch span and give you a keyed alike adjustment lock and hitch lock. I've attached videos of this product to assist.
