Does it Matter if Fifth Wheel Hitch Head or Pin Box Height is Used to Change Bed Rail Clearance

I have a band w companion fifth wheel and a 30ft wildwood camper. I would like a little more clearance between my camper overhang and my truck bed sides, maybe an inch or so. Does it matter if i adjust the pin box or the fifth wheel reciever? Both are adjustable and the pin box appears easier to adjust. Thanks for your help.

It does not make a difference if you use the pin box height or the fifth wheel hitch head height to change the clearance between the bed rails of the truck and the camper trailer's overhang. In nearly all situations it's easier to adjust the fifth wheel hitch head so that would be what I would do.

Hey David, from previous customers of ours who have the same 2020 Keystone Raptor 424 we have determined that your pin box style is the Lippert 1621 which means for a Gen-Y gooseneck adapter you'd want the #GY58GR that you referenced.
