Can Furrion S7 Camera System Install on RV with Different Brand Prewiring

Question:

I just bought a Lacrosse 3299SE camper, prewired for camera. I bought the Furrion S7 to put on. The prewired setup seems to be different, and the mount is larger than the S7. Should mine work with this? If not do I need to rewire for my connection? and would that be just a matter of cutting existing wires and splicing mine in? Thank you

It is possible your camper has a different brand of camera prewiring, but the great thing about the Furrion RV Observation Camera System # FOS05TASF that you have is that it comes with the needed bracket to install if yours is different. So, you'd just need to use the included bracket after removing what's there and then wire the base to the wiring already there on the camper. At one point only Furrion was prewiring campers for cameras, but we are seeing other brands now like Voyager.
