Installation of etrailer.com Hitch Receiver on 2015 Toyota Highlander

Question:

Apparently there is no drilling required. How many bolts are used to secure the hitch to the frame? Seems pretty simple. Is it?

The etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98844 is a custom fit for your 2015 Toyota Highlander so it is an easy installation with just 6 bolts. There is no drilling required and installation time is estimated at 50 minutes. There is some under panel trimming required for this installation, but there is not trimming of the fascia. This is outlined in the attached photo and included in the installation time. Please also see the attached video installation.

If you want to use this hitch for accessories like a bike rack you will be all set. If you want to tow with this hitch then I recommend also using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118449 which will easily install to your factory wiring.
