Best Roof Rack for a 2019 Subaru Forester With Naked Roof and Fixed Mounting Points

Question:

Is there a Thule or other roof rack that will attach to the fixed points on a 2019 Forester without rails? We have a Thule rack that fit our 2009 Forester, but the fixed points appear to be different now.

For a roof rack that will attach to the fixed mounting points you have on your 2019 Subaru Forester I recommend using the Yakima JetStream Crossbar System which is composed of part # Y00425, part # Y53TR, and part # Y00248. This system is one of my favorite roof racks because the crossbars have an aero shape so they will reduce wind noise and retain greater fuel efficiency than other styles. They also have built-in channels for use with channel mounted accessories and you don't have to cut the rubber strips like most others require.

As mentioned above this system will install using pre-existing fixed points on your vehicle's roof. It will allow for a maximum of 220 lbs of weight to be stored. If you wish to add locks for security then you can do so with the Yakima SKS lock cores part # Y07204.
