Operation of Optronics Streamline LED Trailer Lights STL79RB
Question:
I have a set of the below trailer lights for my trailer and when i just have my lights on in auto the top and bottom three LEDs are lit up and the middle are not. When i press on the breaks they all light up? Is this normal operating procedure or should i replace them? I have a new set at home but was researching this before I went and spliced them in. Yes, what you are describing is normal operation for the Optronics Streamline LED Trailer Tail Light # STL79RB. When just the running lights are on the 4 diodes on top and bottom are brighter than the 3 middle diodes. When you press the brakes or use your turn signal all of them are supposed to light up. You can see this in the attached photo and review video.
