Why is RoadMaster Tail Light Wiring Kit # RM-155 Not Recommended For a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LT

Why do you not recommend uaing the RM-155 kit on the Malibu? I have a 2011 Malibu LT.

Neither one of our manufacturers, RoadMaster or Blue Ox, recommend to use the bulb and socket type of lighting when flat towing a 2011 Chevrolet Mailbu LT. Usually it is because of limited space in the taillight housing that does not allow the bulb and socket to fit properly. We go by what the manufacturers recommend, since they have already done a test fit on the vehicle.
The RoadMaster Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154, or the Blue Ox Wiring Kit, part # BX8848 is recommended for your Malibu.
