The ends on the Easy Grip Assist Handle - Aluminum part # PLR6624-A where the metal is flattened are 1-7/16" wide.

The overall length of the Polar Handle part #PLR6624-A is 27-15/16 inches. The diameter of the handle is 1 inch just like what you are wanting so this should work well for you.
