Does etrailer.com Trailer Hitch # E98848 Require Stabilizing Strap with Cargo Carrier
Question:
Hello. I would like to mount #E98848 on my 2018 honda cr v. I wish to use the hitch with a 24 x 60 Curt cargo carrier. Would I need to use a stabilization strap with this hitch?

A stabilizer strap is not required when using hitch-mounted accessories like the Curt # C18151 that you mentioned with the etrailer.com Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98848.
The etrailer.com Hitch is confirmed to fit your 2017 Honda CR-V and will work great with this particular cargo carrier. I really like the hidden design on this hitch that allows only the 2 inch receiver to be visible on the vehicle. Its 525 pound tongue weight capacity exceeds that of the Curt Cargo Carrier.
I have attached an installation video for the hitch that you can use for reference and a video demonstration on the cargo carrier that you can check out as well.
