Which Wire from 7-Way Connector Gets Ran to Brake Controller
Question:
Ok do I leave the harness from controller to connector near emergency brake still plugged in? Then splice in the blue wire at p3 controller?

It's actually the blue wire of your 7-way that you'll need to run up to the brake controller to make it active. You'd run this wire to the blue wire of the controller and as long as the controller is wired up the rest of the way you'd be in business. You'll want to use 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot).
I attached a picture that shows how a brake controller normally wires up to a vehicle and 7-way.
