Recommended Track Roof Rack System for Bed Rails of 2018 Chevy 2500
Question:
Thule top Trac system Im interested in installing the top Trac system on my 2018 chevy 2500 truck box rails with an aero bar system. What exactly would I need to do on run this set up by bolting them to the box rails directly, the 54 or 60 inch setup as well as the correct footers to use?

The Thule Roof Mounted Top Rack System - 60" Long # THTB60 will work on your truck box rails with an aero bar system. But the 60 inch aero crossbars will not be wide enough. To get the width you need, you would need the Thule ProBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - 69" Long - Qty 2 # TH713600 which will be much thicker but still have mounting channels. For the fit kit you will use # THKIT3101 and then the Thule Podium Foot Pack for Aero Bars # TH460R. I then recommend using the locks # TH450400 to secure your system.
If you want a complete system that comes together, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars - Track Mount - Black 65" Long # Y02-500B. I've attached a video of this installation that would work well on the top of your bed rails as well.
