Redarc Trailer Brake Controller and Wiring for 2018 Ford Transit T350 SRW
Question:
have a T350, 2018, SRW. Need brake controller and wiring, but have a hitch. I have seen some units with boxes that get mounted out of the way, with just a control knob visible. I am 6-foot-6 so dash-mounted controllers are less than ideal - I like my knees! I still have my old Prodigy - and it still works fine - so giving that to my son once I get the new one.

It sounds like the Redarc Redarc Tow-Pro Elite brake controller # RED44FR will do the trick. This auto-leveling proportional controller will give you the smooth even braking power for your trailer brakes and also allow remote installation of the main unit, with only the control knob on your dash or console. The kit components are shown in the linked photo and the install is illustrated in the video I linked for you.
Wiring the controller will require brake controller install kit # ETBC7. The T350 also need to have basic 4-pole wiring. If you do not have 4-pole wiring you can use # C56327 on your single rear wheel T350. A video for this kit is linked too.
