Troubleshooting Lippert Landing Gear Operating In Reverse and Blowing Fuse
Question:
Hooked up and up is down. Keeps blowing my fuse when I go to raise trailer/extend the jacks?

If the Lippert landing gear on your trailer is operating in reverse (up is down and down is up) then most likely something is miswired between the switch and motor. Check to make sure that the connections are correct for these 2 wires in particular. If you recently replaced the motor or switch then simply try swapping the two wires between the switch and motor (but not the wiring that goes to the battery).
If the connections are good (or the landing gear worked fine before without any modification in between) then there may be an exposed section on the wiring that is causing a short between the 2 circuits. This might also be why the fuse keeps blowing when trying to extend the jacks.
Inspect the wiring between the switch and motor and look for any signs of damage like exposed copper or discoloration, replacing as needed.
Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue and we can continue to troubleshoot.
