How to Get to Motor of Lippert Electric Coach Steps for Replacement
Question:
How can I manually get the steps down so I can access the step motor? My steps are stuck in the up position and see no way to lower them. Please help.

I checked the owner's manual for the Lippert Coachsteps and to get to the motor it says, "Remove the two bolts that hold the step arm collars to the drive shaft. This will allow you to operate the steps manually."
I made a cut out of the instruction manual for you which shows where it says this. I have also added the directions what you will need to do in order to replace the motor; the correct part for this is the Replacement Motor for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301695.
