Which Way Does the Adjustment Wheel Turn to Tighten Electric Trailer Brakes
Question:
when adjusting breaks to tighten the break to cause the tire not to move does the star wheel teeth move upward or downward when looking into the adjusting skot?

You will want to move the adjustment wheel up if looking through the slot on brake assembly, like part # AKEBRK-7R-SA, to tighten it. So essentially the adjustment wheel will roll away from the trailer. I have included a link to a video showing the installation of electric brakes. At about the 4:55 mark our installer adjusts the brakes.
