Service Kit Recommendation for Reese Revolution Pin Box
Question:
I just discovered a service kit for this product. How often is the service kit to be used. Also if I used a slider hitch such as GlideRight do I achieve more space between the cab of my truck vs. the Reese System. The trailer is Rockwood Ultra Light with the Reese System.

We do have a Sidewinder/Reese Revolution service kit available as part # RP86005. Most people don't end up wearing out the Sidewinder/Revolution to the point of needing this repair kit. If you keep the pin box lubricated like what's outlined in the manual of pin box, which is in the install instructions link attached for the # RP34FR I attached, you'll be fine.
This setup is far superior to a slider hitch since you get the turning clearance automatically, fewer moving parts, the vehicle tracks better, and backs up better too.
You can't a slider hitch with these either as it would cause clearance issues with the tailgate of the truck.
