Comparing Blue Ox Super Ride and B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for 2017 Ford F-350

Lots of great info here ... Thanks. Ive been looking at the B/W Companion for 2017 F350 w/ factory pucks... Thought I had the right solution. I was at the 5th wheel dealer today, and big push to buy Super Ride 6200 by Blue Ox... Im not a real fan of a the single point gooseneck, but was looking for insight from Etrailer... 1. What do you know of these systems and 2 any reason you dont carry them? Dealer professed no chucking, quieter, much better ride? Thanks in advance,

I am not very familiar with the Blue Ox Super Ride 5th Wheel Hitch but there is simply no competition when it comes to the B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch part # BWRVK3300 which is the best option on the market for a 2017 Ford F-350. The B&W has 1" thick dual locking jaws which grip the kingpin tightly so there is little to no movement and that is what makes for the smooth ride. It has a cam-action handle which there is really nothing else like it and this allows you to uncouple the trailer on uneven terrain. It also has an easy to remove head for help getting it in and out of the truck bed. These hitches are simply in a class of their own.

That said, I do like Blue Ox and their products but you are comparing a company who makes tons of different towing parts and their real specialty is flat-towing whereas B&W really only makes 5th wheel/gooseneck hitches along with a few other smaller items. Their customer service and warranty is unmatched, just ask around on what the consensus is of B&W and I'm sure you will see why.
