The anode rod on your Suburban SW6DE water heater should be located on the front of the unit at the center towards the bottom. Once located you can use a ratchet to rotate the rod and unthread it from the drain port.

Your Suburban water heater uses a 3/4 inch anode rod so the Camco part # CAM11563 will work perfectly.
