2000-lb A-Frame Jack to Replace Atwood 80274

Question:

Afternoon Folks - what is your recommendation for replacement for this model?

Expert Reply:

Based on my research the Atwood jack 80274 was an A-frame type side-wind tongue jack with a 2K weight rating.

The Pro Series jack # PSRV20000103 that you referenced is a suitable replacement for this discontinued product. The Pro Series offers a 2K weight rating, 14-inches of lift and measures 13-inches from the mounting bracket to the top, excluding the handle.

This jack does not come with a wheel or foot plate but you can use either wheel part # PS1400750340 which will reduce capacity to 1200-lbs or foot plate # PS1400700340 which retains the jack's full 2000-lb weight rating.

We actually have one A-frame sidewind jack available that features a 2" outer tube (the rest are 2-1/4") with the Dutton-Lainson # DL22530. This jack has a 1,000 pound weight capacity, 15" of travel, and is made here in the USA.

Pricing info for the Dutton-Lainson # DL22530 is listed on the product page. From the mounting bracket to the top of the jack there is a distance of 15-1/4". At full extension there would be a distance of 23-1/4" from the plate to the bottom of the jack. When it's fully retracted this measurement is 8-3/4".
