2008 Chevy Impala Roof Rack Recommendation
Question:
I Have recently bought this roof rack For my new kayak and when I went to install it last night the measurements the included fit guide told me are very off I tried messing around to find the right fit and just couldnt get the passenger side to ever stay put always slipped! It says on your website to be confirmed to fit 2008 chevy Impala. Any tips or easy fixes or did I get the wrong rack? Need Help!

So the Sportrack Semi-Custom roof rack part # SR1010 isn't a totally custom fit roof rack for any vehicle. Basically Sportrack made this rack to fit as many vehicles as possible which means it doesn't always fit every vehicle perfectly. For that reason I try not to recommend the Sportrack roof racks for anyone as they don't fit well a lot of the time.
The most cost-effective custom roof rack we have for your 2008 Impala is the Rhino Rack part # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK187 which we know will fit very well. I attached a link to an install video on this page that shows this rack installed on a 2008 Impala just like yours for you to check out too.
