Recommended SportRack Roof Rack for 2007 Mazda 3 Four Door

Question:

I own a 2007 mazda 3, 2.0,4 door with no apparent rack plugs in roof. It appears the sport rack semi- custom roof rack for naked roofs should work . Is this true? I am also in need of the inside distance between driver side support leg and passenger side support leg so I can find a basket platform or box that will on it? thankyou.

For your 2007 Mazda 3, the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1010 is a compatible fit. The inside measurement will be right around 42 inches for your vehicle, so most roof baskets or roof boxes will fit without issue. With most of these, you can use the full 50 inches of your bars if you wish. For a roof box, you will need to know that the crossbar spread of this system is 23.5 inches.
