I would be glad to help you out with an adapter for your 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic. If you have a 7-Way trailer connector on your truck, you can use something simple like # 37385 which goes from a 7-Way and provides 4-Way and 5-Way flat connectors.
If you have a 4-Way flat on the truck, you can use # 20036. The extra blue wire would then be connected to a reverse light circuit behind one of the tail lights and used to operate an electric reverse lockout on a surge brake coupler.
If the Truck does not have a trailer connector, you can add a 5-Way using the Universal Power Converter 5-Way Flat, # 119177KIT. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
