Can Firestone Ride Rite Kit Fit 2005 Ford F-350 with 4 inch Lift Kit
Question:
My 2005 F350 has a 4 inch lift. Blocks were used in the rear and they are 1.5” taller than stock. Wondering if this kit will still work. Thanks in advance. Casey

Firestone Ride Rite Suspension Enhancement kits like the # F2400 can be used on trucks with lift kits like your 2005 Ford F-350 with a 4 inch lift. The key is determining first the amount of effective lift you have on your truck. Basically this means the actual distance increased between the axle and the frame. Some lift kits advertise a number and it's not quite that amount or if the lift is a combination of a spacer block and a smaller suspension lift only the suspension lift amount is what's needed.
So if your 4 inch lift consisted of a 1.5 inch block (body lift) and the rest of it was a suspension lift 2.5 inches you'd need the spacers like the part # F2366 which is a 2 inch spacer setup that would take up the additional space created between the frame and axle from the lift. Most of the time lift kits don't get all of the height they advertise too which is why the spacer is 2 inch and not 2.5 inch.
