Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2018 Honda Pilot

My 2018 Honda Pilot does not have any trailer wiring at the rear of it, what am I going to need to connect to the wiring of my trailer?

For a trailer wiring harness confirmed as a fit for your 2018 Honda Pilot there are two options I recommend but it depends on what your trailer has. If your trailer has a trailer wiring connector that is flat and has 4 prongs on it that means you need a 4-way. For that the best option is the T-One kit part # 118760. If instead your trailer has a round plug with 7 total contact points on it you have a 7-way and the you'd want is the part # 118286. The picture I attached shows the 7-way installed through the factory wiring port on the vehicle.
If you needed a trailer hitch too I recommend the etrailer.com hitch part # E98840 that fits your vehicle as it has the very popular 2 inch hitch opening size which means it has plenty of towing capacity and more hitch accessories are made for it and because it has a concealed cross tube which makes it less visible than other hitches.
