I do have a great option for you, however the Swagman Escapee 2 Bike Platform Rack you referenced in your question will not accommodate a fat tire bike that features 4 inch wide tires. There is not a fat tire adapter available for this particular rack, either.

I instead recommend looking at the similar wheel-mount Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Platform Rack # TH69TX. Like the Swagman rack you were looking at, this carrier can handle 2 bikes that weigh up to 60 pounds each or 4 bikes with a maximum total weight of 160 pounds and features ratcheting hooks to secure the bikes by their front wheels without any frame contact. The T2 though works great with fat tire bikes like what you have and it will easily secure those that have tires up to 5 inches wide. A hitch lock is included to secure the carrier as well as locks to secure your bikes.

The Thule Pro XTR also comes in a 2-bike version # TH83JV.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this bike rack that you can also check out.

Wrong!! the manual says 3" , I have 4" tires and purchased this rack because in the E trailer description is says it'll support 5" , No way 4"'s even come close unless I deflate the tire so it is soft and will fit in the cradle . Does Thule have a solution for this?? Please reply so I don't have to repack this for return. Steve
