Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recomendation for 2019 Hyundai Tucson

I want to carry a kayak on the roof of my 2019 Hyundai Tucson that has rails that run from front to back, what rack and carrier should I get?

First you'll need a roof rack installed on your 2019 Hyundai Tucson so that you can install a kayak carrier. For that the roof rack I recommend is the Yakima Ridgeline roof rack part numbers # Y00425, # Y00145, and # Y06017 because this rack gives aerodynamically shaped crossbars that will minimize wind noise and because the Yakima roof racks are very high quality and easy to install/remove.

For a kayak carrier I recommend the Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 because this padded kayak carrier can fold down when not needed, is a fit for the Yakima crossbars, and because if needed you could also carry a second kayak. The JayLow comes with straps for one kayak. So for additional straps for a second kayak you'd want to use the part # y04031 and you'd be set.
