Where Should Controller and Vacuum Tee of SMI DUO Install in 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Question:
I have the JL 2.0 turbo charged engine. There was no room under the hood for the controller so It is under the drivers seat. There is very little vacuum line for the T and the valve. Where do you suggest I place these connecters.

I spoke with my contact at SMI about installing the DUO # SM99251 in a 2018 Wrangler JL like yours and they responded by telling me where they installed everything when they had the chance to install the kit in a JL just like yours:
On the DUO, we secured the box right behind the front bumper to the frame support.
For the vacuum connection, we hooked the vacuum tee and check valve in the small section of rubber vacuum line that connects into the front, driver’s corner of the engine. If you follow the hard line from the booster you will come to a tee. One side goes to an auxiliary pump and the other goes into the engine. Following the side that goes to the engine will lead you to the section of rubber vacuum line.
