Forgetting to Turn Stay-In-Play DUO Braking System Off Before Driving Vehicle
Question:
I forgot to switch my Stay and Play system off while driving my Jeep. Did I hurt the system by doing this?

I spoke with my contact at Demco and you can rest easy because he said accidentally leaving the switch on for the Stay-In-Play DUO Braking System # SM99251 while driving the vehicle isn't going to cause any actual harm to the system or the Jeep.
Really the only potential issue is one you would have noticed anyway. If you happen to have the in-cab LED indicator wired to the brake light circuit it would have illuminated every time you applied the brakes while driving the Jeep. This probably isn't a big deal during the day but at night it would have provided a really bright, unpleasant light right in your field of vision. This is certainly something you would have noticed right away though and it would have just reminded you to turn off that switch to stop it from happening again.
