Will Tire Chains on 225/55-18 Tires Also Fit 225/45-18 Tires

will tire chains for 225/55/r18 tires fit on my 225/45/r18 snow tires?

There are tire chains available that can fit different tire sizes but the list of these sizes will come from the tire chain manufacturer. I cannot determine what size tires the tire chains will fit with just the tire size you have them on now. I would need to know the part number of the chains that way I can call the manufacturer. If you still have the owner's manual for them it will mostly likely give you this information as well.

With that being said, I took a look at the tire chains we offer for 225/55-18 tires and none of them also fit a 225/45-18 tire so it looks like you will need to obtain a new set of tire chains for which I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC1550 because they are cost effective, class s compatible which means they are ideal for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, and they have color coded sections to help with installation.
