Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring That Stopped Working After Shop Worked on Trailer
Question:
I have a 64 Airstream that has two wires for the tail lights, one for running lights and the other for brake/turn signal. It is grounded through the fixture. I recently had the damaged rear panel replaced and the shop had to RandR the fixtures to remove the panel. Now BOTH bulbs light up when the running lights are on and the turn/brake filament is barely visible. When the running lights are off all is fine. Any help is appreciated.

Most likely they didn't attach the light fixtures properly and miswired them. I'd recommend either having the shop fix the lights since they essentially are the reason it stopped working or using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to verify the function of each wire and make sure they are ran to the correct light fixture.
