Do 245/75-16 Tires and 10x16.5 Tires Use the Same Tire Chains
Question:
Will tire chains for size 245/75/16 also fit 10x16.5

I reached out to my contact at Pewag and there's a chance a single set of chains may fit both tire sizes but there aren't any designed for them.
Size 245/75-16 tires use part # TC2221SCAM for square link chains while the 10x16.5 size tires use part # TC3210SCAM. The problem may be that the latter tires are wider causing the cross link chain to be too long for the 245/75-16 tires. With that being said they're not a lot wider, about 1/2 an inch or so depending on the tires so they may still work. The other chains, part # TC2221SCAM, are almost certainly too smal for the 10x16.5 tires because the cross link chain is too short for their width.
A thought that might work is to use the # TC3210SCAM chains with some adjusters, part # TCMA2, to tighten them up. But I still can't guarantee a fit between those two.
