Lightweight E-Bike Platform Rack for Pedego Interceptor
Question:
Hello I have an infinity QX30 I just purchased swagman e bike rack from your company about 30 minutes ago on line. I’m not sure if this is the best rack for me now that I have done additional research. I plan to travel with 2 bikes one bike approx 50 lbs and one regular bike around 35 lbs. I am a petite woman and have garage storage. Lifting heavy is not the best for me. Can you assist me?

Thank you for your recent order for the Swagman E-Spec 2-Electric Bike Platform Rack S64689.
The E-Spec rack is solidly built from steel and it has plenty of capacity for your two particular bikes. But you're right that its own 60-lb weight will make it less than a delightful experience to handle it and install it in your hitch. I do have a much better option for you.
Thule's EasyFold hitch platform rack for electric bikes, part # TH903202, will still handle your heavier e-bikes but thanks to its lightweight aluminum and ABS construction it weighs only 45-lbs.
