Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Flint Hill Goods Tow Hook for a two inch Hitch. Has a 10,000 pound pulling capacity. Now, this part here is perfect for recovery operation. This is a hitch mounted tow hook that'll be able to slide into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver to provide an attachment point for your recovery strap, cable, or rope.
This does work well in agricultural, industrial, or recreational applications. And as you can see, this part is a sturdy black powder coated steel construction. So it resists rust and corrosion. And it is a nice hitch-mounted design, which means it ensures a quick, simple installation and removal. Now, it does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock to secure it in place.
That is not included. You would have to supply that, or we do sell those separately. The size it uses is a five eights inch diameter pin. Now this, again, fits two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. Maximum pulling capacity of 10,000 pounds.
And the last thing we're gonna do is just give you a few measurements. We're gonna measure the overall length, from this end to this end. So if we put our ruler on it, you can see right at nine inches over length. And then the width, or the opening of the hook portion right there, is about one and three quarter inches. But that should do it for the review on the Flint Hill Goods Tow Hook for your two inch Hitch.

Haven’t Used it as a recovery point yet. Finish is still good after a year.

Very happy with this tow hook. Hope I never need it! I have peace of mind knowing I do in case me or someone else gets stuck or breaks down on the beach and needs to get towed off the sand. I have a bad back so getting under the truck to tie on a tow rope is difficult. Well worth it to me to get things done quickly and easily and get everyone back to being safe and enjoying their day. I haven't had to use this item yet but it is in my tool box mounted on my pickup, so it is ready when I do need it.

Actually I needed one for an inch and a half receiver but I fabricated with inch and a half tubing. All in all I'm very satisfied with quality and price

Product works great! Definitely worth the purchase.
Bought it to have with me in the truck at all times to rescue, or be rescued. Haven't put it to use yet, but it's compact, relatively light, and should do what it needs to with ease. Only drawback is that it's made in China...
Arrived promptly, fits. I haven't tried it with a strap, but hope I never need to.
