Trailer Wiring Harness and Mounting Brackets for a 2016 Nissan Frontier

Question:

Thanks for getting back to me. At this time I have nothing, I intend to buy a complete package from you, hitch, ball and wiring harness from you. I just wanted to see what options I had. Should be a few weeks.

We do have a variety of trailer connectors and mounting brackets that you can use on your 2016 Nissan Frontier.

If you need a 4-Way Flat connector then the Hopkins # HM43575 will work if you have the tow package. If you don't have the tow package then I recommend the Curt # C56225. You can mount either of these using the Tow Ready # 18144 with a no-drill bracket like part # 18140.

I have attached some installation videos and the instructions for you to check out.

Since you don't already have a trailer hitch or a ball mount I have some additional recommendations for you. For a trailer hitch on your 2016 Frontier I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75282. It gives you a clean look after it is installed plus it has a tab already welded to the crossbeam to easily attached the mounting bracket for your wiring. This means that the no-drill mounting bracket would no longer be needed. Then for a ball mount I recommend the 180 Hitch 2-Ball Mount w/ Stainless Steel Balls # LTB6-2. I like the adjustable ball mounts for pickups because they can be used for a variety of towing applications. The reversible 2 hitch balls and the adjustable shank gives you the ability to tow level even if you are towing different trailers. An installation and review video have been linked for you to reference as well.
