im towing my chevy impala 2010 front wheel drive with a 2 wheel towing dolly. do i need to put my car in neutral?

I checked the online owner's manual for the 2010 Chevrolet Impala and on page 5-27 and 5-28 the preparation process to tow this car on a dolly like the Roadmaster # RM-2000-1 is outlined. Here is the complete procedure from the manual:

1. Attach the dolly to the tow vehicle following the dolly manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Drive the front wheels onto the dolly.
3. Shift the transmission to P (Park).
4. Firmly set the parking brake.
5. Use an adequate clamping device (an old tire's rubber inner tube works) designed for towing to ensure that the front wheels are locked into the straight position.
6. Secure the vehicle to the dolly following the manufacturer’s instructions.
7. Release the parking brake only after the vehicle being towed is firmly attached to the towing
vehicle.
8. Turn the ignition to LOCK/OFF and remove the key.

I did some checking and your 2016 Chevy Impala can be flat towed on a tow dolly like the Roadmaster tow dolly you mentioned part #RM-2050-1 but not with all four wheels on the ground.

Since you need the Replacement Control Unit for Kwikee 38 Series Electric RV Steps #LC363989 I'm assuming you have 38 series steps on your 2017 Thor Windsport. The correct replacement motor for these steps would be the #LC379147.

Since your Georgie Boy Pursuit is a 2008 model, you will need the Lippert Components Kwikee Motor and Screws for New IMGL Step #LC379147. The motors changed from October to November of 2005, so you can rest assured it is the correct replacement.
