No Power to 4-Way on the Curt T-Connector Harness Part # C55486
Question:
I have followed all the installation instructions of the curt harness #55486 to a T. I am getting no power to the plug. My 98 toyota rav4 vehicle lights still work properly. I have checked the wiring on the trailer and rechecked the wiring on the harness. Suggestions?

When you say you are not getting power to the 4-way on the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C55486, I can only assume you tested each pin with the vehicle running and the signal activated while using a circuit tester? If so then great we can move onto the next step but if not then you will want to do this first.
The next step would then be to test the signal wires while they are active just before they enter the converter box. If you have power entering the converter box but not exiting then you know it is bad and will need to be replaced. If you do not have power entering the converter box then you will then want to turn your attention to the t-connector plugs. Take each one off, make sure they are plugged into the proper side and then take a look at the metal pins inside to ensure they are not bent or broken.
This is also assuming that you have checked every inch of wire on the wiring harness from the t-connector plugs to the 4-way trailer connector. Please let me know what you come back with once the above is competed.
