The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76144 will fit a 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. Just like the other models, there will be modification to the exhaust hanger bracket required as outlined in the installation instructions.
If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56369 which installs to factory harness behind the tail lights. You will need to run the power wire to your vehicle battery to power this converter that protects your Jeep from overloading the wiring and electronics.
I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3-1/2" Rise # BWTS10035B for your ball mount. This all steel ball mount has two hitch balls and a really nice stowable feature when not being used. I recommend using a hitch lock like # e98880 to secure your ball mount.
