Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for Curt E16 Slider Installed in 2013 Ford F-150 6.5 ft Bed
Question:
Hello, i am deciding on the right 5th wheel hitch for me. i drive a 2013 f150 with a regular bed 6 and 1/2 ft. I am fairly certain that i will need the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 I believe i need rails, and an instillation kit ? Which ones would be compatible with my truck ? Also, i would prefer custom to universal if it is an option. thank you !

You are on the right track! You do need a slider hitch so that you'll have enough clearance to make tight turns and a custom install fifth wheel rail kit is the way to go as it will minimize drilling and install time over a universal kit.
For a custom fit fifth wheel rail kit confirmed as a fit for your 2013 Ford F-150 6-1/2 foot bed that would work well with the Curt E16 Slider part # 16516 that you mentioned you'd want the part # C16441-204 and you'd be set.
The E16 hitch will work but if you wanted a hitch with a tighter king pin contact you'd want the A16 Slider part # C16521 which will give you a much tighter king pin contact that will help keep your ride as smooth as possible. Slide bar jaws like the E16 have are known for allowing quite a bit of movement.
