Malone MPG202 Roof Rack Fit on 2018 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4 with side raised rails that run from front to back. I am concerned that the Malone Rack might not tighten down securely to the side roof rails because I cannot tell from the photos online if the rubber coated clamps that partially fit around the side rails are stiff or flexible. It would seem that if there is a stiff metal underneath the rubber coating then the clamp would be secure to the side rail. I am concerned that a flexible clamp would slide up and off the side rail since the clamp does not wrap entirely around the side rail. Are the clamps made of a stiff metal or are they made of something else that will not provide a secure fit to the side rail on my 2018 RAV4? Thank you.
